Why do I need this? I'm fine with paper bills.

From July 2026, the UAE government will not allow handwritten bills. Only e-invoices from approved systems will be legal. Tajir POS is already ready for this requirement.

I don't have VAT, do I still need it?

Yes, even if you are not VAT registered, the law applies to all businesses. You will still need to issue digital invoices.
